Toy Fair 2008 just happened and WrestingFigs.com was on hand to cover this event with lots of pictures and previews of things we should expect this year!

Maximum Aggression. Jakks is ready to launch this new giant DA figures in 2008 with Y2J, CM Punk, Elijah Burke, Undertaker, Triple H, Carlito, and Rey Mysterio (not pictured). TNA has made some quality 12 inchers with die cast belts and cloth accessories. How will this fare against it?

Unmatched Fury. The spolight is on Bret Hart, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, and the first-time figure of Hornswoggle (with Finlay). Looking good so far, though they could have improved Bret’s head a bit.

Classic Superstars. This is going to be hot in the next couple of sets, highlighted by my favorite figures shown at the Toy Fair: the masked Kane and Black Tiger AKA Eddie Guerrero. Adam Bomb and Sunny are note-worthy as well.

Ruthless Aggression and Deluxe Aggression. Lots of re-paints. Y2J makes his Deluxe debut, and we will be seeing a new Undertaker headscan and the debut of a new DA torso for Finlay.

Build & Brawl. What started as mini DAs will go full blast in 2008 with new characters and, get this, Classic Superstars! I never bought a BNB figure but these classics will be hard to pass on. Be on the lookout for Razor Ramon, classic HBK, and the Rock. Not to mention their own Hell in a Cell!

Others. New products that are more on the cartoony/creative side that were previewed in the last Toy Fair. The aztec Rey looks pretty sweet.

Playsets. With the new electronic Raw entrance stage as the playset-to-get of the year, we are also treated with a non-electronic stage, a backstage arena re-release, and an Elimination Chamber for Micros! Not pictured are current and classic steel cages for Stunt Action Spring Rings.
